Build the Parts, Plan the Whole

A good plan can cover 50% of the work needed. A bad plan is better than no plan at all. One of misconceptions of planning is that the work needed to get it done is a redundancy of the actual work needed. What needs to be appreciated is that plans don't just prepare oneself but acquaints it of the probable failures and challenges as well. When one skips planning and prefers to approach a situation or a challenge with no foresight or prior planning, the cost of the learning curve is higher and the probability of a bad end is high. BUILD THE PARTS. If one is already planning, why is there a need to build the parts? You see, sometimes the sum of the parts is bigger than the value of the whole.
